Virginia High School Lacrosse - Washington-Liberty overwhelms Wakefield
April 28, 2021: Arlington, VA 22201 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) and the visiting Wakefield Warriors (Arlington, VA), witnessed Washington-Liberty's lacrosse squad overcome Wakefield by a count of 9-1.
The Generals now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Centreville for a non-league battle on Monday, May 3.
In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 4. Wakefield will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Bruins come into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 13-3 non-league win over T.C. Williams (Alexandria, VA).
