Rock Valley Rockets (Rock Valley, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Okoboji Pioneers (Milford, IA), 56-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Rock Valley upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Rockets travel to Sibley-Ocheyedan (Sibley, IA) to clash with the Generals in a Siouxland bout on Friday, January 29. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 13-3. Sibley-Ocheyedan won 48-39 in their recent league bout against Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA)

Next up, the Pioneers clash with the Central Lyon Lions (Rock Rapids, IA) in a Siouxland bout, on Friday, January 29. Okoboji will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 12-2 record after their 66-52 league win over Sheldon (Sheldon, IA).
