Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN) and the host Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN), saw Hanover Central's basketball squad overcome Wheeler by a tally of 44-25.

With the victory, Hanover Central improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Bowman Academy (Gary, IN) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 29. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-8.

Next up, the Bearcats confront the Kouts Mustangs (Kouts, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 7. Wheeler will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record.
