New Mexico High School Basketball - Kirtland Central overwhelms Aztec
April 29, 2021: Kirtland, NM 87417 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM) and the visiting Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM), saw Kirtland Central's basketball squad wallop Aztec by a count of 45-15.
With the victory, Kirtland Central upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Broncos host Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM) to play the Bobcats in a 4A District 1 challenge on Friday, April 30. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Bloomfield lost 59-52 in their recent league challenge against Miyamura (Gallup, NM)
Next up, the Tigers play the Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM) in a 4A District 1 challenge, on Friday, April 30. Aztec will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Bengals come into the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 70-33 league win over Shiprock (Shiprock, NM).
