Assumption Knights (Davenport, IA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers (Center Point, IA), 40-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Assumption upgrades its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Solon (Solon, IA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 20. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 17-4. Solon won 50-48 in their recent non-league bout against Monticello (Monticello, IA)
