Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA), 3-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Trojans confront the Foothill Falcons (Pleasanton, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Castro Valley will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 3-3 league Monte Vista (Danville, CA).

The Highlanders now possess a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hayward for a non-league battle on Friday, February 7.
