Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC) and the host Elkin Elks (Elkin, NC), saw East Wilkes's basketball squad wallop Elkin by a tally of 48-24.

With the victory, East Wilkes improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to North Wilkes (Hays, NC) to play the Vikings in a challenge on Wednesday, February 17. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 2-3.
