September 2, 2020: Commerce, GA 30529 The East Jackson Eagles (Commerce, GA) softball the visiting Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA), 9-7 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Eagles (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Monroe Area (Monroe, GA). The Hurricanes go into the AAA Region 8 bout with a 0-6 record. In their last bout, Monroe Area by Hart County (Hartwell, GA), 9-0, in a league test.
The Patriots (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Elbert County (Elberton, GA). The Blue Devils enter the non-league test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Elbert County held off North Oconee (Bogart, GA), 7-4, in a non-league battle.
