Georgia High School Softball - North Gwinnett bounces Pope
October 3, 2020: Marietta, GA 30062 North Gwinnett Bulldogs (Suwanee, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 19-4 record. They take the field next when they host South Forsyth for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 5. North Gwinnett will battle a War Eagles squad coming off a 6-1 league loss to North Forsyth (Cumming, GA). The War Eagles record now stands at 15-2.
With the loss, Pope falls to 19-4 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Kennesaw Mountain (Kennesaw, GA) to battle the Mustangs in a AAAAAA Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, October 6. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 14-6. Kennesaw Mountain won 12-0 in their recent non-league challenge against North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA)
