Kentucky High School Football - Harlan can't get by Leslie County
October 28, 2022: Hyden, KY 41749 Leslie County Eagles (Hyden, KY) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team nudge the visiting Harlan Green Dragons (Harlan, KY), 21-18 in a non-league test.
With the win, Leslie County improves its record to 3-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Martin County (Inez, KY) to face the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, November 4. The Cardinals enter the bout with a record of 6-4. Martin County lost 35-15 in their recent non-league bout against East Carter (Grayson, KY)
The Green Dragons (8-3) will now prepare for their bout against Sayre (Lexington, KY). The Spartans enter the non-league bout with a 5-6 record. In their last bout, Sayre was nudged by Bethlehem (Bardstown, KY), 35-28, in a non-league bout.
