The Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN) volleyball were winner over the host Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN), 3-1 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Cowan betters its record to 20-2 on the year. The Blackhawks travel to Bellmont (Decatur, IN) to face the Braves in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 10. The Braves go into the outing with a record of 17-4. Bellmont won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Columbia City (Columbia City, IN)

The Vikings now sport a 20-5 record. They play next when they travel to Union for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 15. Blue River Valley will face a Rockets squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Seton Catholic (Richmond, IN). The Rockets record now stands at 4-13.
