Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Covington Trojans (Covington, IN) and the visiting Benton Central Bison (Oxford, IN), observed Covington's volleyball team gain a win over Benton Central by a final score of 3-0.

The Trojans (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Fountain Central (Veedersburg, IN). The Mustangs come into the Wabash River battle with a 4-13 record. In their last battle, Fountain Central achieved victory over Attica (Attica, IN), 3-0, in a league battle.

Coming up next, the Bison play the Seeger Patriots (West Lebanon, IN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 17. Benton Central will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to South Newton (Kentland, IN).
