North Carolina High School Soccer - Jordan held off by Wakefield
September 11, 2019: Raleigh, NC 27614 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC) and the visiting Jordan Falcons (Durham, NC), saw Wakefield's soccer squad get by Jordan by a margin of 2-1.
The Wolverines now sport a 2-5 record. They play next when they host East Chapel Hill for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. Wakefield will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 6-0 league win over Orange (Hillsborough, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Jordan drops to 2-3 on the season. The Falcons travel to Panther Creek (Cary, NC) to encounter the Catamounts in a Triangle 8 4A test on Monday, September 16. The Catamounts come into the test with a record of 4-1. Panther Creek won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC)
