Wyoming High School Basketball - Guernsey-Sunrise holds off Morrill
January 6, 2023: Guernsey, WY 82214 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Guernsey-Sunrise Vikings (Guernsey, WY) and the visiting Morrill Lions (Morrill, NE), saw Guernsey-Sunrise's basketball squad hold off Morrill by a tally of 41-37.
With the victory, Guernsey-Sunrise improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Wheatland (Wheatland, WY) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 9. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Wheatland lost 48-38 in their recent non-league challenge against South (Cheyenne, WY)
Next up, the Lions confront the Crawford Rams (Crawford, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Morrill will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 56-37 non-league win over Edgemont (Edgemont, SD).
