The Cosby Titans basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Franklin County Eagles to 53 in the Titans non-league victory on Thursday.

The Titans now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monacan for a Dominion contest on Wednesday, January 4. Cosby will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 41-30 non-league win over Petersburg (Petersburg, VA). The Chiefs record now stands at 6-3.

The Eagles (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Glass (Lynchburg, VA). The Hilltoppers come into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Glass was nudged by Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA), 63-56, in a non-league contest.
