February 3, 2023: Jacksonville, FL 32244 The Cornerstone Academy Cougars basketball team (Gainesville, FL), was routed 72-31 in Friday's non-league battle with the host First Coast Christian Knights (Jacksonville, FL)
The Knights now sport a 5-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph Academy for a non-league battle on Monday, February 6. First Coast Christian will battle a Flashes team coming off a 47-34 non-league win over Bishop Snyder (Jacksonville, FL). The Flashes record now stands at 18-5.
The Cougars (4-12) will now prepare for their battle against Redeemer Christian (Ocala, FL). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 16-8 record. In their last battle, Redeemer Christian was routed by Faith Christian (Orlando, FL), 67-60, in a non-league battle.
First Quarter
First Coast jumped out to an early lead, thanks to 13 1st quarter points from Mandon Seapoe.
Second Quarter
First Coast substituted freely, with many starters sitting out the second quarter.
Third Quarter
Mandon Seapoe reentered the game and scored 11 of his teams 22 points.
Fourth Quarter
Both teams used mostly reserves, but Seapoe did hit a 3 pointer to bring his game total to 27 before exiting the contest.
