Bellmont Braves (Decatur, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host DeKalb Barons (Waterloo, IN), 59-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Bellmont upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Braves host Fort Wayne Bishop Luers (Fort Wayne, IN) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 7. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Fort Wayne Bishop Luers lost 38-25 in their recent non-league bout against Hamilton Heights (Arcadia, IN)

Next up, the Barons clash with the Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran Cadets (Fort Wayne, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. DeKalb will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Cadets go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 60-59 league loss to Fort Wayne Wayne (Fort Wayne, IN).
