The Northern Patriots football squad scored 33 points and limited the visiting Chopticon Braves to 12 in the Patriots league win on Friday.

The Patriots now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Patuxent for a non-league battle on Friday, October 11. Northern will play a Panthers squad coming off a 21-14 league win over La Plata (La Plata, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 3-2.

Coming up next, the Braves play the Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) in a Southern Maryland - Chesapeake battle, on Friday, October 11. Chopticon will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Hurricanes go into the battle with a 5-0 record after their 21-20 league win over St. Charles (Waldorf, MD).
