Marion Patriots (Marion, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Central Cougars (West Helena, AR), 70-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Marion upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Patriots travel to Vilonia (Vilonia, AR) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 8. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Cougars play the Jacksonville Lighthouse Wolves (Jacksonville, AR) in a 3A Region 6 bout, on Friday, December 11. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
