Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Northwest Whitfield Bruins (Tunnel Hill, GA) and the host Cedartown Bulldogs (Cedartown, GA), saw Northwest Whitfield's basketball squad hold off Cedartown by a tally of 53-50.

With the victory, Northwest Whitfield improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Murray County (Chatsworth, GA) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 21. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Murray County won 76-57 in their recent league challenge against Adairsville (Adairsville, GA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Sonoraville Phoenix (Calhoun, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 28. Cedartown will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
