The DeSmet Bulldogs basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the host Lower Brule Sioux to 53 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 23-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Viborg/Hurley for a non-league contest on Friday, March 19. DeSmet will battle a Cougars team coming off a 53-45 non-league win over Lyman (Presho, SD). The Cougars record now stands at 18-5.

The Sioux (16-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lyman (Presho, SD). The Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 19-5 record. In their last contest, Lyman was routed by Viborg/Hurley (Viborg, SD), 53-45, in a non-league contest.
