Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC) and the host Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC), saw Independence's basketball squad hold off Rocky River by a tally of 59-54.

With the victory, Independence improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Patriots host Myers Park (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Mustangs in a Southwestern 4A challenge on Friday, February 19. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Myers Park won 71-28 in their recent league challenge against Garinger (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Ravens confront the Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) in a Southwestern 4A challenge, on Friday, February 19. Rocky River will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 71-28 league loss to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC).
