North Carolina High School Basketball - Jordan-Matthews nips Trinity
January 15, 2021: Trinity, NC 27370 Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC), 38-34 in a league bout.
With the win, Jordan-Matthews upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Jets host Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 19. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Southwestern Randolph lost 68-43 in their recent league bout against Walter M. Williams (Burlington, NC)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC) in a PAC 7 2A bout, on Saturday, January 16. Trinity will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 55-44 league loss to Wheatmore (Trinity, NC).
