Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Portal Panthers (Portal, GA) and the host Metter Tigers (Metter, GA), saw Portal's basketball squad overcome Metter by a tally of 58-40.

With the victory, Portal improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Metter (Metter, GA) to confront the Tigers in a A Public Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 19. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 4-4.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Claxton Tigers (Claxton, GA) in a A Public Region 3 challenge, on Friday, January 15. Metter will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 59-50 league win over Portal (Portal, GA).
