Mississippi High School Football - Holmes County Central tipped by North Panola

The Holmes County Central Jaguars football team (Lexington, MS), was tipped 50-44 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host North Panola Cougars (Sardis, MS)

The Cougars (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Cleveland Central (Cleveland, MS). The Wolves come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Cleveland Central was tipped by Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS), 21-7, in a non-league challenge.

The Jaguars now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Neshoba Central for a 5A Region 2 challenge on Friday, September 17. Holmes County Central will meet a Rockets team coming off a 45-14 league win over Forest Hill (Jackson, MS). The Rockets record now stands at 3-0.
