In Friday's league match, the visiting South Medford Panthers football squad scored a close 40-34 victory over the North Medford Black Tornado.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Summit Storm (Bend, OR) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 5. South Medford will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Storm enter the match with a 7-2 record after their 27-7 league win over McNary (Keizer, OR).

The Black Tornado (4-4) will now prepare for their match against McNary (Keizer, OR). The Celtics enter the non-league match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, McNary was nudged by Summit (Bend, OR), 27-7, in a league match.
