Virginia High School Football - Washington-Liberty drops to West Springfield

In Friday's non-league game, the West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA) football team knocked off the host Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA), by a final score of 35-14.

The Spartans (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Hayfield (Alexandria, VA). The Hawks come into the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Hayfield was dropped by Marshall (Falls Church, VA), 35-34, in a non-league game.

The Generals now hold a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Wakefield for a District 2 game on Friday, September 24. Washington-Liberty will battle a Warriors team coming off a 46-0 non-league loss to Centreville (Clifton, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-3.
