October 14, 2021: Concord, NC 28027 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) and the visiting A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC), saw Cox Mill's soccer squad knock off A.L. Brown by a margin of 4-2.
The Chargers now sport a 14-1 record. They play next when they travel to Olympic for a non-league test on Monday, October 18. Cox Mill will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 6-4 league loss to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 8-11.
With the loss, A.L. Brown drops to 7-9 on the season. The Wonders host South Iredell (Statesville, NC) to meet the Vikings in a Greater Metro 4A test on Monday, October 18. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 5-10. South Iredell lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC)
