February 2, 2022: Denver, NC 28037 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC) and the visiting Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC), saw East Lincoln's basketball squad overcome Hickory by a tally of 45-30.
With the victory, East Lincoln improves its record to 19-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to St. Stephens (Hickory, NC) to confront the Indians in a 3A Conference 51 challenge on Friday, February 4. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 12-7. St. Stephens won 66-16 in their recent league challenge against West Iredell (Statesville, NC)
Next up, the Red Tornadoes confront the West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC) in a 3A Conference 51 challenge, on Friday, February 4. Hickory will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 0-20 record after their 66-16 league loss to St. Stephens (Hickory, NC).
