The Angola Hornets basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Central Noble Cougars to 38 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hornets now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeland for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 12. Angola will meet a Lakers team coming off a 60-42 non-league win over West Noble (Ligonier, IN). The Lakers record now stands at 10-9.

The Cougars (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Fairfield (Goshen, IN). The Falcons enter the Northeast Corner contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Fairfield was outscored by Eastside (Butler, IN), 37-36, in a league contest.
