North Carolina High School Football - Hough victorious over Mallard Creek

April 1, 2021: Cornelius, NC 28031

In Thursday's league match, the host Hough Huskies football squad scored a good 35-14 victory over the Mallard Creek Mavericks.

In their next game, the Huskies clash with the Zebulon B. Vance Cougars (Charlotte, NC) in a I-Meck 4A match, on Friday, April 9. Hough will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 6-0 record after their 42-0 league win over North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC).

With the loss, Mallard Creek drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Mooresville (Mooresville, NC) to battle the Blue Devils in a I-Meck 4A test on Friday, April 9. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 1-4. Mooresville won 46-0 in their recent league test against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC)
