Pennsylvania High School Football - Ephrata prevails Sun Valley

October 17, 2020: Aston, PA 19014

The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Ephrata Mountaineers (Ephrata, PA) and the host Sun Valley Vanguards (Aston, PA), observed Ephrata's football squad defeat Sun Valley by a count of 23-6.

The Mountaineers now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Lampeter-Strasburg for a Lancaster-Lebanon 3 contest on Friday, October 23. Ephrata will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 40-7 league win over Garden Spot (New Holland, PA). The Pioneers record now stands at 5-0.

Coming up next, the Vanguards encounter the Kennett Blue Demons (Kennett Square, PA) in a Ches-Mont - American contest, on Friday, October 23. Sun Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Blue Demons go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 28-0 league win over Great Valley (Malvern, PA).
