The Walled Lake Northern Knights football team (Commerce, MI), was tipped 22-21 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI)

The Cougars (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Kettering (Waterford, MI). The Captains come into the Lakes Valley challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Kettering was tipped by Lakeland (White Lake, MI), 16-7, in a league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Walled Lake Western for a Lakes Valley challenge on Friday, October 16. Walled Lake Northern will meet a Warriors team coming off a 35-24 league win over South Lyon (South Lyon, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 3-1.
