In Saturday's non-league game, the host Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions baseball team scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Hamilton Huskies.

The Mountain Lions (9-1) will now prepare for their game against Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 8-1 record. In their last game, Queen Creek Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ), 10-10, in a non-league game.
