Louisiana High School Baseball - Many nudged by Byrd
March 29, 2023: Shreveport, LA 71104 The Byrd Yellow Jackets nudged the visiting Many Tigers baseball team by a tally of 5-4 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Yellow Jackets now hold a 12-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Captain Shreve for a 5A District 1 bout on Thursday, March 30. Byrd will face a Gators team coming off a 6-2 league win over Parkway (Bossier City, LA). The Gators record now stands at 12-7.
Next, the Tigers face the Mansfield Wolverines (Mansfield, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 31. Many will attempt to advance on its 9-7 season record. The Wolverines enter the bout with a 2-4 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Montgomery (Montgomery, LA).
