January 12, 2019: Phillipsburg, KS 67661 The Phillipsburg Panthers basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Hill City Ringnecks to 18 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoisington for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 22. Phillipsburg will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 32-27 league loss to Smoky Valley (Lindsborg, KS). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-6.
The Ringnecks (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Stockton (Stockton, KS). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Stockton was routed by Oakley (Oakley, KS), 51-25, in a league contest.
