Mississippi High School Basketball - Pisgah ripped by Leake Central

January 12, 2019: Carthage, MS 39051

The Leake Central Gators basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Pisgah Dragons to 34 in the Gators non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Gators now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kosciusko for a 4A Region 4 contest on Tuesday, January 15. Leake Central will meet a Whippets team coming off a 50-45 league win over New Hope (Columbus, MS). The Whippets record now stands at 9-10.

The Dragons (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Pelahatchie (Pelahatchie, MS). The Chiefs enter the 2A Region 6 contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Pelahatchie was routed by Puckett (Puckett, MS), 72-47, in a league contest.
