February 7, 2019: Fort Washington, MD 20744

Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Friendly Patriots (Fort Washington, MD), 50-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Potomac upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Wolverines host KIPP College Prep (Washington, DC) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 8. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 13-2. KIPP College Prep won 49-15 in their recent league bout against Thurgood Marshall Academy (Washington, DC)

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A bout, on Tuesday, February 12. Friendly will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 71-58 league loss to Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD).
