Colorado High School Ice Hockey - Lewis-Palmer held off by Battle Mountain
February 12, 2022: Edwards, CO 81632 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Battle Mountain Huskies (Edwards, CO) ice hockey team nudged the visiting Lewis-Palmer Rangers (Monument, CO), by a margin of 4-3.
The Huskies now possess a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Steamboat Springs for a 4A Mountain challenge on Friday, February 18. Battle Mountain will clash with a Sailors team coming off a 4-2 league win over Aspen (Aspen, CO). The Sailors record now stands at 10-5.
The Rangers (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO). The Red-Tailed Hawks enter the non-league challenge with a 17-1 record. In their last challenge, Cheyenne Mountain tipped Mullen (Denver, CO), 9-1, in a non-league challenge.
