Nebraska High School Softball - Polk County falls to Gothenburg
September 13, 2022: Gothenburg, NE 69138 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Gothenburg Swedes softball team scored a nice 13-1 win over the Polk County Slammers.
Coming up next, the Swedes encounter the Kearney Catholic Stars (Kearney, NE) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 13. Gothenburg will attempt to upgrade on its 14-2 season record. The Stars enter the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 6-4 non-league loss to Cozad (Cozad, NE).
With the loss, Polk County falls to 13-5 on the campaign. The Slammers travel to St. Cecilia (Hastings, NE) to face the Bluehawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 15.
