Tennessee High School Football - Union County prevails Claiborne
September 7, 2018: Maynardville, TN 37807 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Union County Patriots (Maynardville, TN) and the visiting Claiborne Bulldogs (New Tazewell, TN), observed Union County's football squad defeat Claiborne by a count of 36-16.
The Patriots now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Sullivan East for a 4A Region 1 contest on Friday, September 14. Union County will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 41-27 non-league loss to Volunteer (Church Hill, TN). The Patriots record now stands at 0-4.
