The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Kirtland Hornets (Kirtland, OH) and the visiting Brooklyn Hurricanes (Brooklyn, OH), saw Kirtland's softball squad achieve victory over Brooklyn by a count of 16-5.

The Hornets now sport a 7-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crestwood for a Chagrin Valley - Valley match on Monday, May 10.
