May 13, 2021: Sheffield, OH 44054 Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Brookside Cardinals (Sheffield, OH) and the visiting Wickliffe Blue Devils (Wickliffe, OH), witnessed Brookside's softball squad prevail over Wickliffe by a count of 11-1.
The Cardinals now sport a 11-7 record. They play next when they host Bay for a non-league match on Friday, May 14. Brookside will face a Rockets squad coming off a 15-5 non-league loss to Cloverleaf (Lodi, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Wickliffe moves to 9-8 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH) to face the Lancers in a non-league match on Saturday, May 15. The Lancers go into the match with a record of 9-2.
