New York High School Basketball - Irvington fells Croton-Harmon
January 6, 2020: Croton on Hudson, NY 10520 Irvington Bulldogs (Irvington, NY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Croton-Harmon Tigers (Croton on Hudson, NY), 67-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Irvington upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Bulldogs host Hastings (Hastings on Hudson, NY) to play the Yellow Jackets in a Section 1 Conference 3C bout on Friday, January 10. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Hastings lost 54-41 in their recent non-league bout against Putnam Valley (Putnam Valley, NY)
Next up, the Tigers play the Valhalla Vikings (Valhalla, NY) in a Section 1 Conference 3A bout, on Wednesday, January 8. Croton-Harmon will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 49-33 non-league win over Rye Neck (Mamaroneck, NY).
