Kansas High School Basketball - West Franklin overwhelmed by Wellsville
February 14, 2020: Wellsville, KS 66092 The Wellsville Eagles basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting West Franklin Falcons to 28 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anderson County for a Pioneer contest on Monday, February 17. Wellsville will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 43-37 non-league win over Iola (Iola, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-6.
The Falcons (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Marais des Cygnes Valley (Melvern, KS). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 1-16 record. In their last contest, Marais des Cygnes Valley was routed by Mission Valley (Eskridge, KS), 57-10, in a non-league contest.
