South Dakota High School Basketball - Beresford overwhelms Canton
January 24, 2020: Canton, SD 57013 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Beresford Watchdogs (Beresford, SD) and the host Canton C-Hawks (Canton, SD), saw Beresford's basketball squad wallop Canton by a tally of 54-21.
With the victory, Beresford improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Watchdogs travel to Chester (Chester, SD) to play the Flyers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 25. The Flyers come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Chester lost 63-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Sioux Valley (Volga, SD)
Next up, the C-Hawks play the Tri-Valley Mustangs (Colton, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Canton will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 50-47 league loss to Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD).
