In Saturday's non-league outing, the Whale Branch Warriors (Beaufort, SC) basketball squad beat the host Battery Creek Dolphins (Beaufort, SC), by a count of 40-28.

The Warriors (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Bluffton (Bluffton, SC). The Bobcats go into the non-league outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Bluffton defeated Ridgeland/Hardeeville (Ridgeland, SC), 55-31, in a non-league outing.
