Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Cozad Haymakers (Cozad, NE), 45-28 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hershey upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE) to play the Irish in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 14. The Irish come into the bout with a record of 3-1. St. Patrick's won 59-48 in their recent non-league bout against Maxwell (Maxwell, NE)

Next up, the Haymakers play the Valentine (Valentine, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 14. Cozad will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 60-44 non-league loss to Todd County (Mission, SD).
