New Mexico High School Basketball - Jemez Valley trounces New Mexico School for the Deaf
February 13, 2020: Santa Fe, NM 87505 The Jemez Valley Warriors (Jemez Pueblo, NM) basketball crushed the host New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners (Santa Fe, NM), 50-29 in Thursday's league test.
The Warriors (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Alamo Navajo (Magdalena, NM). The Cougars go into the non-league battle with a 14-8 record. In their last battle, Alamo Navajo bounced Native American Community Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 57-55, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Roadrunners meet the Walatowa Charter Cougars (Jemez Pueblo, NM) in a A District 1 match, on Tuesday, February 18. New Mexico School for the Deaf will attempt to move on its 9-12 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 5-8 record after their 49-45 league loss to Evangel Christian Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
