The Homestead Spartans (Fort Wayne, IN) basketball knocked off the visiting Lawrence North Wildcats (Indianapolis, IN), 44-30 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Spartans (17-1) will now prepare for their test against Northfield (Wabash, IN). The Norseman go into the non-league test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Northfield notched a victory over Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN), 54-49, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 19-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lawrence Central for a non-league test on Thursday, January 16. Lawrence North will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 78-65 non-league win over Cathedral (Indianapolis, IN). The Bears record now stands at 12-4.
